1474: Born in Trujillo, Spain

1509-Francisco becomes an explorer 
Francisco sailed on an expedition that found the city of San Sebastian.
1513: He traveled on Vasco Nunez de Balboa's crew when he discovered the Pacific

1515-He meets the natives 
While traveling with the expedition, Francisco met and traded with the natives of the new lands. He wanted to make his own expedition 
1519-1523: Pizarro was mayer of Panama 
1523: At the age of 50 Pizarro started his first expedition to South America
1526: Pizarro started his second expedition to South America

1528-The discovery of Peru 
Francisco travelled with Diego de Almagro. while they were exploring they landed in Peru. 
1528-Francisco returns to Spain 
After discovering Peru with Diego de Almagro they went back to Spain
1530-Peru is claimed for Spain 
Francisco took another expedition to Peru where he claimed the land for Spain. He travelled with his 3 half-brothers.
1532: Pizarro captured the Atahuallpa
1533: The Inca leader Atahaullpa was put to death 
1535: Pizarro conquered the Inca empire and founded the city of Lima
1541: Francisco Pizarro is killed after a dispute over money with former partner Diego de Almagro
